Conducts complex studies in support of environmental compliance and environmental permitting. Provides analysis and support to achieve environmental compliance for all areas of the Transmission and Distribution functions in the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides direction and guidance to company leaders while working through problems and creating innovative solutions to enhance and maintain environmental stewardship.
Builds positive working relationships with external parties to promote the company's environmental stewardship efforts.
Represents company in working groups with regulatory agencies and with utility industry trade organizations; makes technical presentations to public and private groups at special events; implements training and education programs. Provide analysis and support to ensure appropriate environmental permitting. Responsible for day-to-day compliance of activities associated with company policies, procedures, facilities and construction permits issued by federal, state and local agencies.
Develops budget estimates for environmental costs, tracks and reports costs against estimates, develops environmental scope, document, mitigation and restoration schedules to meet budget targets and achievable project schedules.
Performs project and consultant management duties on complex projects including scheduling, budget preparation, and selection.
Researches, analyzes, and communicates the impact of existing and proposed regulations affecting transmission and distribution business.
Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.
Performs related duties as assigned. Requirements Essential Education, Skills, and Environment Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in the area of specialty from an accredited school and 6 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and experience developing and maintaining federal, state and local agency relationships. General knowledge of cultural resource regulations. Advanced knowledge of applicable state and federal environmental permit regulations.

General office environment. Ability to walk/hike in remote areas to identify plants and wildlife. Compensation
Annual Salary: $95,800.00 (Min) to $112,700.00 (Mid); Up to 15% Short Term Incentive Plan target opportunity at the discretion of the company. This is a non-represented position. Benefits
