Responsibilities
• Provide technical guidance and foster a collaborative environment to solve complex problems• Architect and manage cloud-based solutions on AWS• Work closely with software engineering and analytics team to improve internal software systems• Manage and update configuration of on-site Linux systems• Build ETL pipelines to move data between data stores• Design cost-effective storage and compute solutions• Build solutions with security in mind• Communicate problems early and offer solutions• Participate in continuous improvement of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Requirements
• 5+ years' experience in Software Engineering or DevOps• History of leading projects from inception to completion• Strong communication skills• Excellent problem-solving skills• Experience in operations or start-up environment• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)• High expertise in managing EKS clusters• Knowledge of GitOps pattern• Strong experience with infrastructure as code• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines• Experience with database design• Understanding of event-driven architecture• Programming skills in at least one OOP language• Experience with Docker• Linux server administration and management experience• Experience using Git version control• Ability to work in both team environment and autonomously
