• Work in the Accounting Division at Headquarters in Sacramento• Pass an examination for Senior Accounting Officer (Specialist)• Submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) along with the application• Discuss education, training, experience, and skills relevant to the position in the SOQ• Label the SOQ with your name and re-state each question preceding each response• Submit all required documents, including the State application (STD. 678) or the SOQ• Describe knowledge and experience with the Financial Information System for California
