Senior Accountant is a hands-on accounting role reporting to the Controller and you will be engaged in corporate level accounting duties/responsibilities in an effort to support our teams. These teams are traveling throughout Canada and the United States implementing GSI's unique and proprietary approach to solving our customer's needs. Who is GeoStabilization International®? What Work Will I Be Performing? Preparation of wide variety of finance and accounting analysis, reports, and month end reconciliations, Preparations of various requested schedules such as, fixed asset depreciation/amortization, debt, inventory, etc. Cash Flow and Treasury Management: management of all cash accounts, forecasting, weekly reporting. Interact with external auditors to provide necessary assistance, Assist with sales/use tax analysis and reporting. Assist with general accounting tasks and reporting, Help develop and implement more efficient and effective accounting and financial reporting procedures for scaling. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 5+ years of experience of construction (or like) accounting experience, Proficient with Microsoft Office Products, with intermediate skills in Excel Well organized and detail-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills Accounting experience with subsidiaries and international currency conversion a plus. Preferred Qualifications Experience with public and/or multi-state accounting. Multiple entity and international experience preferred. This is a hybrid role (three days in office, two remote).
Salary range: $80,600 - $95,200 per year.
