About the Job

We are looking for an experienced SEM Specialist to join our team! This is a high-impact role with a lot of growth potential. You'll work directly with our Director of CRM, MA, & Data Analytics Systems, and cross-functionally with creative and account teams, web development staff, social media specialists, and agency leadership. All in support of the agency's (and our clients') brand awareness and prospecting needs…in a workplace that rewards hard work, independent thinking, and resourcefulness.

Understanding you may have other gigs, the workload can be flexible based on availability. This role is welcome to join the team in offices, work remotely, or a hybrid of the two.

Responsibilities

Ongoing Campaign Management
Ongoing campaign performance monitoring should occur daily/weekly and include:
Keyword refinement, including recommendations for negative keywords to improve CTR and conversion rates
Ad Group monitoring and refinement as needed
Recommendations for campaign optimization/testing opportunities
Media gallery updates (images, videos)
Bidding adjustments, as needed
Management and updates of all campaign Assets including links, citations, extensions, etc.
Monitor performance of Ad Copy and Placements and include recommendations as needed
Bi-Weekly Meetings
Quarterly Reporting & Recommendations
Supporting new business efforts with competitive SEM research
Bi-Annual Competitive Reporting [digital channels]
This includes up to 10 competitors, and provides the following information:
Website performance
Similar sites
Traffic and engagement
Marketing channels
DMA info
Keywords
Ranking distribution
Organic information
Website segment analysis

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as an SEM Specialist
Proven experience in SEM, with a strong track record of managing successful campaigns
Proficiency in Google Ads and other SEM platforms
In-depth knowledge of keyword research, bid management, and campaign optimization techniques
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication and time management skills
Creativity, and an analytical approach to problem-solving
Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Agency experience preferred
