We are looking for an experienced Scribe/Medical Assistant . This is 4 days a week Tuesday thru Friday 8 am - 5 pm Scribe duties are to transcribe in real-time while the physician is with the patient in the examination room, talking to and examining the patient, and going through symptoms or issues during the patient visit. Must have excellent typing, medical terminology, spelling, grammar, and computer skills. Experience as a medical scribe is required. Medical assistant's primary focus is patient care, from assisting the physician, by providing patients with compassionate, caring interactions, to performing various tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering telephones, preparing examination rooms, taking vitals, and accurately communicating information to the physician.
Responsibilities: Transcribe in real-time Take vitals Schedule appointments Perform data entry Clean exam rooms Answer phone calls Taking notes during patient visits and documenting them in the electronic health records system Working with a supervising Physician to complete and submit medical records Communicating with patients and supervising Physicians professionally Completing all administrative tasks efficiently Must be able to multitask, detailed, dependable, great with computers, professional, and team player. Must be able to pass criminal background checks, drug screen, and current reference checks. Must be at least 18 to apply.
