SALARY RANGE: School District Comprehensive Benefits Package. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION: Minimum B. A. in Elementary Education with English as a Second Language Endorsement (must have linguistically diverse or ELD endorsement/emphasis)
Hold or be able to obtain Colorado Teachers' Certificate/License from the Colorado Department of Education in Elementary Ed with English as a Second Language Education or linguistically diverse endorsement.
Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado standards and assessments and the ability to facilitate data driven instruction and the standards based classroom.
Demonstrated ability to ensure student academic success/experience for elementary school students in English as A Second Language and English/Language Arts.
Strong background in the teaching of reading and writing and English Language Development.
Computer and Technology skills preferred.
Able to work as a team member/experience with grade level ELD teaming and push in or pull out models preferred.
Experience working with diverse populations. Bilingual/Biliterate in Spanish and English preferred.
