Currently, we are looking for a full time Scheduling Specialist for our W. Alta location in Las Vegas. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Working inbound referrals and eFaxes to allow scheduling of every referral appointment withing 23-48 hours. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Analysis of incoming referrals to sort to subfolders for data entry into our EMR for each referral received. Understanding of Commercial and Government Insurances including Workers Comp, Third party Collaboration, Communication Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Technical and Scheduling skills to assist patients with appointment time and date for Initial Evaluation and the 5 following visits. Thorough knowledge of problem-solving methodologies. Ability to organize and prioritize various demands. Action oriented and driven for results. A self-starter and to work with minimal direction. Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet productivity metrics. Ability to communicate complex information in a well thought-out easily understood manner, both orally and in writing in a variety of settings and styles. Ability to communicate in an honest, direct, and professional manner, relating well to others to build rapport and effective relationships. Ability to demonstrate active listening by asking clarifying questions, identify and share relevant information and solicit feedback from others and give and receives feedback objectively. Ability to practice time management, timely decision making, and conflict management. Commitment to company core values. Education : Minimum high school diploma, college a plus but not mandatory if meeting experience requirements
Experience : A t least two years of relevant work experience and the skills necessary for the position.
Language: Bi-lingual preferred
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity enough to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone/headset and other office equipment.
