As a Region Sales Manager, you will drive the sales performance of a regional sales team in the Process Automation, Energy Industries business unit in the USA. Solutions sold can include Process Automation/Control Systems, Digital/Software Process Optimization Solutions, Electrical Gear and Services. Specifying and implementing effective sales and business-development in line with global strategy will be essential.
You will lead and coach the regional sales organization to meet annual targets and exceed customer expectations while maintaining integrity at every step.

Vice President of Sales,Energy Industries
Your responsibilities
Identifying new business opportunities and creating clear strategies to convert them Coordinating the information flow around sales activities and providing forecasts and market intelligence to marketing and management Establishing strong customer relationships and maintaining a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post sale Conducting contract risk assessments and working closely with relevant parties to mitigate risks Building a robust sales organization through best practices, training/mentoring and cross collaboration
Your background
Bachelors degree in Engineering or technical field preferred and minimum 7 years experience in direct sales and sales management, working in the process automation and optimization field is ideal Knowledge of ICSS (Control and Safety Systems) and Process Optimization solutions Experience in business development, account management and cross-selling in a project services environment A clear grasp of contract negotiations, risk management and commercial and legal terms Exceptional communication and negotiating skills, a customer focused mindset and a professional, "can do" attitude English skills a must Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US Benefits
