Job summary
To provide front line supervision to ensure individual account executives achieve assigned sales objectives.Utilize a market asset based business strategy to achieve revenue growth objectives.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Implement and ensure compliance with advertising sales objectives.• Oversee and monitor all areas of account executives' daily assignments.• Recruit, train, motivate, and develop a group of account executives.• Establish rates and ensure adherence to rate structures.• Ensure account executives have a clear understanding of the marketplace.• Set performance expectations and hold account executives accountable.• Conduct performance reviews and take disciplinary action when needed.• Create and review sales goals for account executives.• Assist in the development of budgets.• Participate in sales meetings and embrace change within a business context.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent experience.• Five years advertising or relevant sales experience.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Excellent organizational skills.• Ability to motivate others and work under pressure.• Ability to keep abreast of competitive conditions.• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
