Responsibilities
• Provides professional and courteous service to customers• Places merchandise on the sales floor in a timely manner• Ensures accurate ringing of items on the register• Maintains knowledge of merchandise and answers customer questions• Keeps floor merchandise neat and orderly• Maintains clean professional appearance• Performs general housekeeping responsibilities• Maintains familiarity with store security procedures• Settles customer complaints• Performs basic math skills
Requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and associates• Ability to provide exceptional customer service• Ability to perform basic math skills• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time• Ability to bend and lift up to 40 pounds frequently• Basic working knowledge of computer applications and the internet• Minimum six months of previous work experience preferred• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred• Previous experience working in a retail environment preferred• Excellent customer service related skills preferred
