About the Position
Role: Part-Time Travel Instructor
Location: State of Oregon (various off-campus facilities)
Employment Type: Part-time or full-time
Schedule: Day classes, with labs generally from 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM (adjustable to 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) and clinicals from 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM. Labs run for 5 days and clinicals for 6 days, totaling 12 days including final exams and travel.
Key Responsibilities
Classroom Instruction: Deliver engaging lectures, lead discussions, and present course materials through PowerPoints and videos.
Lab Sessions: Demonstrate essential skills, provide practice scenarios, and mentor students in preparation for their certification exams.
Clinical Training: Assign tasks, oversee student activities in clinical settings, and ensure competency in required skills.
Student Support: Offer guidance, coaching, and professional insights to foster a supportive learning environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
Current RN license in Oregon, unencumbered.
Minimum of one year of full-time nursing experience.

Skills:
Ability to teach and mentor diverse student populations.
Proficiency with PC navigation and classroom technology.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
