Responsibilities
• Perform credit due diligence and make decisions• Assist the Risk Manager with granting or recommending credit lines• Review customer accounts and minimize potential losses• Communicate with AR Analysts for proper collection follow-up• Minimize credit risk and improve cash flow• Evaluate credit risk for existing and new customers• Identify risk accounts and take necessary actions• Maintain virtual credit files for all customers• Meet approval timeline for new customer credit applications• Maintain good relations with Sales personnel and customers• Exchange useful information with Credit Associations and other businesses• Special projects as assigned
Requirements
• College Degree in Business, Accounting or Credit Designation• 2+ years experience in risk/credit analysis activities• Working knowledge of credit department operations• Strong problem-solving skills• Experience establishing and maintaining effective relationships• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP and Microsoft Office Software• Excellent listening and customer service skills• English speaking (French and/or Spanish an asset)
