Position: Retirement Plan Counselor
As a Retirement Plan Counselor, you play a pivotal role in delivering on-site education and enrollment presentations to both new and existing clients enrolled in defined contribution 401(k) plans. Utilizing cutting-edge technology and resources provided by our industry-leading platform, you'll empower employees on their journey towards a secure retirement. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with the Client Management team to foster and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within your designated territory.
Location Requirement: Denver, CO or close proximity preferred.
Language Requirement: Fluency in Spanish is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communication and education strategies through group meetings (potentially including one-on-one sessions), both in-person and via web platforms or recorded presentations.
- Provide consultative support to employees to enhance participation and enrollment rates.
- Manage schedules for assigned meetings, including travel arrangements.
- Regularly compile and report meeting data, maintaining accurate records in proprietary reporting systems.
- Offer valuable feedback to Client Management regarding the effectiveness of communication materials and strategies, contributing to the identification of alternative approaches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, and fractions.
- Strong presentation skills, both in group settings and one-on-one interactions, are required.
- FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations required within specified timeframes.
- FINRA fingerprinting mandatory.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Empower products, defined contribution business, and ERISA regulations.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English preferred.

Salary Range
$60,200.00 - $85,025.00 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications.
