Start Your Journey with Midas Hospitality: Midas Hospitality is seeking a dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Hotel Canandaigua located in Canandaigua, NY. This person will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the restaurant and room service and may also supervise a lounge or bar by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate staff.
What does the day to day look like? Inspects food and food preparation to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations. Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints. Ensures side work completion. Increases level of guest and associate satisfaction. Implements and assists with training in all Food & Beverage areas. Implements and enforces procedures with staff for identification requests from customers regarding legal age for alcohol consumption. Ensures cleanliness standards are adhered to in all assigned areas. Promotes the F & B products with specials, collateral, and in-room promotions. Train and develop restaurant associates. Provide open communications and recommend discipline and termination, as appropriate. Implement company programs (franchise) and supervise the operations of the restaurant and room service as required to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations and federal, state and local regulations to ensure an optimal level of service, quality and hospitality are provided to the guest(s). Respond to customer needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects. Recommend and implement promotions, displays, buffet presentations and ideas to capture more in-house guests and a larger share of the local market. Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of the restaurant and equipment to protect the assets, comply with regulations and ensure quality service.
