Responsibilities
• Perform real property appraisals with high degree of accuracy• Estimate market value of residential properties using statistical and analytical practices• Communicate effectively orally and in writing• Work independently with good work ethics• Have knowledge of construction, appraisal, cost estimating, real estate, or legal description• Maintain continued education requirements• Pass background check and driving record check• Acquire Washington State Appraisal Certification and National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices Certification• Be bondable• Complete required application, resume, and cover letter
Requirements
• Residential Appraiser/Analyst I: Two years of college and High School Diploma or equivalent• Residential Appraiser/Analyst II: High School Diploma or equivalent, two years of college, and three years' experience as a Washington State Accredited Appraiser• Bi-lingual skills preferred• Valid Driver's License required• Must maintain continued education requirements• Must be bondable
