Responsibilities:
Research Support:
Assist the Research Director in conducting quantitative and qualitative research.
Gather and clean datasets, perform descriptive statistics, and synthesize scholarly literature.
Contribute to writing and editing reports and presentations.
Administrative Support:
Manage scheduling for internal and external meetings, ensuring seamless coordination.
Prepare meeting agendas, background materials, and memos.
Take detailed meeting notes and help track action items for follow-up.
Ensure accuracy by proofreading, fact-checking, and formatting research materials.
Maintain organizational efficiency through file management, document sharing, and task tracking.
Facilitate communication among team members and act as a liaison when needed.
Assist in drafting emails and correspondence on behalf of the Research Director.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a public office, non-profit, or similar environment requiring research and administrative skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
Proficiency in RStudio.
Strong organizational and project management abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities with flexibility.
Experience handling confidential/sensitive information, coupled with sharp critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Collaborative spirit, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude, demonstrating care for people and community, along with self-confidence and common sense.
Willingness to work some evenings and weekends.
Preferred experience with datasets, data-wrangling, and descriptive statistics.
Experience working with senior executives is a plus.
Compensation:
Annual salary starts at $60,000, commensurate with experience.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 60,000.00 Per Year
