There is an adventure and current opening waiting for a  Traveling Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse to work in  Rapid City, SD Estimated Traveler Rates $2700.08 estimated weekly $54.80 Blended estimated Permanent address must be over 100 miles from facility Start Date: ASAP 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights every other weekend/holiday 48 hours Requirements: South Dakota or compact RN license 2 years PCU experience BLS ACLS NIHSS Epic experience This is a mixed acuity unit meaning there will be Intermediate Care acuity as well as Tele and MedSurg Direct admits, ED admits, Post Cath Lab, etc MI, NSTEMI & STEMI (IABP would go to ICU), CHF, Dysrhythmia management, Pacemaker malfunction, Epicardial pacers Backup Stroke unit and Medical Overflow Step down level experience with post cardiac/vascular, post-cardiac cath patients, post open heart surgery, post TAVR, post EP studies, post pacemaker insertion Experience with Cardiac procedural recovery (CABG/TAVR/post cardiac cath), MI pharmacology,  titratable Cardiac/vasoactive gtts (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Levo, Dopamine) , Heparin gtts, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes management, TNK administration (preferred) Staffmax Healthcare is certified by  The Joint Commission and has earned its  Gold Seal of Approval .  All candidates must be  fully credentialed prior to start dates.
