Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for spearheading the market development of Specialty Ingredients within your designated region. Your primary focus will be on cultivating relationships with new and existing accounts, collaborating closely with our Innovation Team to introduce new products and applications.
Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage and grow existing business within the region while devising strategies to expand sales through new accounts, applications, and products.
Work closely with brokers and distributors to drive business growth and foster strong partnerships.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for Specialty products, developing tailored plans to ensure revenue growth.
Collaborate with the Innovation Team to introduce new products and applications to target accounts.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at client accounts, including purchasing, marketing, and product development teams.
Coordinate resources effectively to support sustainable sales growth.
Stay informed about competitors' products, targets, and strategies, providing relevant insights and reports.
Negotiate pricing and contracts, monitor contract balances, and communicate changes to customers and internal teams.
Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and analytical reports.
Represent the company at national and regional trade shows.
Ensure timely submission of call reports, providing essential information to the team.
Collect, analyze, and summarize data and trends to inform decision-making processes.
Work Experience:
Preferred 5-10 years of direct sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in industrial food ingredients.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in sales and marketing, food science, business administration, or a related field from an accredited college/university.

Location of Role:
This is a remote role based in the mid-Atlantic area, with approximately 30%-40% travel required.
