Incumbent would provide support to Acetate T&I engineers by completing routine and non-routine trials in the Acetate T&I pilot plants, Acetate T&I process labs, and plant production areas.  Position requires ability to work independently and to plan, procure, set up, and modify non-routine equipment and instrumentation to execute trials.  Candidate would communicate with both Celanese and external partners. The incumbent would be required to assemble data and report results while interfacing with engineers, technicians, EHS, operations, designers, vendors, and project work teams. The individual may be asked infrequently to travel to Celanese sites, Supplier, Customer, and / or Toller facilities to support projects and manufacturing operations. HS Diploma 3-5 years of relevant experience Manufacturing, Process Laboratory, and / or Pilot Plant experience required. Knowledge of Acetate Manufacturing, associated quality parameters, and product requirements desirable. The incumbent must possess outstanding safety awareness, an overall mechanical ability, with enhanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.  This self-motivated position also requires: willingness to accept new challenges, ability to work with diverse teams, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to work on multiple tasks with limited supervision and significant time constraints.  Computer skills and the effective use of Microsoft Office products relating to data manipulation and report generation are required.
