As a Quality Manager at True Fitness , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products/services meet and exceed industry standards and customer expectations. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing comprehensive quality metrics, fostering a proactive approach to quality management, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities: Quality Metrics Development: Establish and maintain key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and assess various aspects of product/service quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and monitor metrics aligned with organizational goals and customer satisfaction. Proactive Quality Culture: Lead the development and implementation of a proactive quality culture, emphasizing prevention over detection. Root Cause Analysis: Develop and implement effective root cause analysis methodologies to identify and address the underlying causes of quality issues. Work closely with relevant teams to drive corrective and preventive actions based on root cause analysis findings. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, ensuring that lessons learned from quality incidents are used to enhance processes and prevent future issues. Implement best practices and industry benchmarks to elevate the overall quality standard. Travel and Collaboration: Regularly travel to Taiwan and China to work closely with local staff, vendors, and partners. Conduct on-site assessments, audits, and training sessions to ensure adherence to quality standards. Vendor Relationship Management: Collaborate with vendors to establish and maintain strong quality standards in the supply chain. Conduct regular vendor audits and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, or related discipline). Proven experience as a Quality Manager with a focus on metrics development and proactive quality management. Strong understanding of quality methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean, and statistical process control. Excellent leadership and communication skills to drive cultural change and collaborate effectively across teams. Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Familiarity with relevant quality management standards and regulatory requirements. This position is onsite at our Corporate Headquarters in O'Fallon, MO.
