POSITION/TITLE: Quality Manager **REPORTS TO:Operations Manager **
**POSITION SUMMARY:**
High precision micro component company seeks a Quality Manager to help support continued growth. Responsibilities include ensuring ISO compliance and quality execution of each process. Successful candidate will have knowledge of manufacturing methods, inspection equipment, measurement techniques, and software. Candidate will demonstrate the company core values, People, Integrity, and Excellence, in all aspects of their assigned duties and responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ** **Focus on high customer satisfaction in accordance with quality standards.1. Communicate with customers to clarify product requirements
Communicate with vendors to ensure compliance to requirements Take full responsibility of the QMS ISO compliance.1. Keep QM & QA documents current
Schedule and manage meetings and audits Direct quality initiatives for continuous improvement and apply total quality management tools.1. Develop process control plans and ensure compliance
Lead and perform Quality Assurance activities.
Drive and evaluate project and department progress and results.
Recommend equipment purchases to address bottlenecks and maintain/improve capability.
Employee will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Required: High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of quality assurance and inspection background, or a 4 year degree in a related field of study
Required: Knowledge of Statistical Process Control, Risk Management, and Documentation
Required: 1+ years of direct supervisory experience
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, preferably ISO 13485
Proficient PC skills and Microsoft software
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Effective communication and technical writing skills
You should be proficient in:
Bachelor's Degree Basic Computer Skills AS9100 Experience Blueprint Reading Continuous Improvement Excellent Communication Skills Experience in a Manufacturing Environment GD&T High School / GED ISO 9001 Certification Experience ITAR Registration Experience Leadership / People Management Machine Safety Inspections Quality Inspection Experience Programming Machine Vision Systems Machines & technologies you'll use:
