Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesSupport overall quality of the conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, and inspection of production enginesSupport and lead process improvementsCoordinate with engineering on manufacturing related issuesParticipate in investigations related to quality issues - create 4 blockers describing investigation/action status – present to plant leader at bi-weekly quality meetingIdentify/implement corrective actions for quality issuesSupport engine sickbaysUpdate/create quality proceduresConduct quarterly workstation auditsServe as focal for internal and external audits (DoD, DNV, FAA, etc.)Support Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis eventsInvestigate/answer all product related quality concernsSupport Quality CCC, present quality metricsInput and influence decisions within own discipline and areaWork on very complex technological issues or manufacturing processesSolve issues and develop new and innovative approaches to problem solvingQualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality)Desired CharacteristicsHumble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn?Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively?Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed ?Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative?Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinkerHealthcare benefits include medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage; access to a Health Coach, a 24/7 nurse-based resource; and access to the Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services.
