A Quality Engineer with 3+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing setting is needed in the Seneca, SC area. This is a relocation. Relocation expenses will be paid by the employer for qualified candidates (current U.S. citizens or residents authorized to work for any U.S. employers without special considerations).
QUALITY ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES :
* Develop and maintain the Quality Management System.
* Generate, maintain, and submit documents associated with customer required packages (PPAP, SPC, PFO, FMEA, and gauge R&R documents).
* Manage documentation preparation for customer on-site source inspections.
* Assist the Quality Manager with the implementation and maintenance of an ISO-9001 or AS-9100 approved quality management system.
* Function as primary point of contact for customer complaints pertaining to documentation and compliance to specification.
* Act as the Lead Auditor for internal and supplier audits.
* Implementation of continual improvement and corrective action requirements.
QUALITY ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS & PREFERENCES:
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a technical field related to the subject matter.
* 3+ years' manufacturing experience in quality management, quality engineering, or six sigma application.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Intermediate skills with MS Office.
* Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
* Experience in an AS9100 or ISO-9001 environment.
* Strong knowledge of lean principles and root cause analysis.
* Statistical data analysis and problem-solving ability.
* Ability to interpret customer specifications and manufacturing requirements.
* Team building ability through all levels and areas of the organization.
* General understanding of performance management requirements.
