*Applicants who apply through third-party sites (Indeed, Monster, etc.) will receive an email from ApplicantPro to complete their application.* The Quality Assurance Coordinator position will help ensure that the Refugee and Asylee Programs case file documentation meets standards of Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains (LFSRM), as well as public and private funders. This position conducts internal reviews of all case file documentation for all resettlement programs to ensure high quality standards of contract compliance and client service delivery. The incumbent will provide training and support to direct services staff in the areas of case file documentation and program guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs quality assurance checks on client case files, reviewing all required case documents and case notes. Review will include each case file in its totality, encompassing all programs in which that case may be enrolled. Plans and conducts training and staff development. Will assist with and or facilitate regular trainings directly with line staff as well as work with supervisors and managers, helping them to plan and execute trainings themselves. Lead the audit preparation efforts for audits. Provide training on immigration and follows up with supervisors and staff after program monitorings to ensure that any suggestions or findings in the monitoring reports are addressed, providing additional training and technical assistance as needed. Understands and stays current on relevant Refugee & Asylee program available to refugees. Provides data required for reports; submits all required reports accurately and in a timely fashion. Serves as an advocate and resource for clients and provides equal treatment to all client groups in accordance with the agency's commitment to the dignity of all persons. Coordinates services with other key staff to assure comprehensive services for the refugee. Attends and participates in staff and consortium meetings as applicable. Maintains high quality case file documentation expectations. Collaborates with team members to implement, enhance, and maintain a comprehensive, sustainable programs. Complies with all federal, state and LFSRM contracts. Participates in community outreach activities that advances the work and message of LFSRM. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Cross cultural sensitivity and knowledge with the ability and desire to work with people of other cultures, some of whom will be limited English speakers. Broad knowledge of practices, principles, and methods employed in the resettlement of refugees, including a working knowledge and understanding of US Immigration laws and regulations. Written communication skills, ability to write reports and to make presentations. Detail oriented, extensive documentation skills, organized and able to work in a multi-tasked environment. Maintains punctuality for work, appointments and report dates. Ability to self-start but also works well in a team setting. Can collaborate effectively with others. Computer skills in Word, Excel, and the use of email and other applications. Possesses a valid driver's license, and is able to travel throughout the agency service areas. Must carry automobile liability insurance at the level of $100,000/300,000/100,000. Demonstrates commitment to the mission, values and vision of Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university plus 2 years of experience in training, adult education, and/or quality assurance or equivalent combination of education and or experience.
Knowledge of refugee resettlement programs preferred but not required.
