Currently, this Tier 1 automotive components supplier needs a talented individual to fill the role of Purchasing Co-op at our World Headquarters location in Detroit, MI. Responsibilities
Coordinates business case preparation. Assists with developing pricing proposals and strategies. Facilitates program management activity. Tracks purchase/tool orders. Responsible for initiating and/or creating cost requests within the cost request system. Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements Required Skills and Education
Must be enrolled at a College or University Must be pursuing a degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering. Graduation date of December 2025 or later preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must have knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word Detail oriented, able to multitask and prioritize workload Self-motivated and able to work independently Able to maintain confidential information Must be interested in pursuing a career in the automotive industry Must be available to work 40 hours/week
