Job Description: Principle Responsibilities Performs psychological evaluations, individual psychotherapy, and group psychotherapy. Utilizes various empirically supported treatment modalities. As a member of the inpatient treatment team, works with psychiatry, social work, nursing, clinical therapy and other disciplines to support patient recovery. Utilize behavioral principles to address specific patient behaviors that interfere with treatment or impede discharge. Meet requirements of third-party payers. Coordinate treatment with other members of the inpatient treatment team and community agencies. Reassess patient needs and progress per department policy/procedure. May provide general consultations, staff training, and education on psychological topics to inpatient mental health staff and the greater Allina system. Job Requirements Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Psychology or Counseling required Exposure to or experience in inpatient treatment preferred
2+ years in patient treatment in clinical setting preferred Licensed Psychologist - MN Board of Psychology required upon hire and BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource preferred within 60 Days Physical Demands
