Property Maintenance Specialist

Position Purpose: The Property Maintenance Specialist is responsible for lawn care and landscape cultivation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage a group of workers responsible for caring for the grounds at all properties. Mow lawns with riding lawnmowers or manual mowers. Trim weeds and bushes, and edge lawns using a variety of machines. Perform landscaping projects. Perform routine maintenance duties. Prune trees and shrubs. Supervise groundskeeping staff. Order work and repairs. General Property maintenance. Act as back up for Facility Sanitation Specialist. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in property maintenance preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience in general maintenance. Experience operation all forms of lawn and landscaping machines and tools. Great attention to detail. Proficiency with computers and programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet. Conditions of Employment: The Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma operates a drug-free workplace.
May be required to submit to and pass applicable drug test and background check. Adhere to all work rules, policies & procedures, and safety standards. Work Requirements: Position involves prolonged sitting, standing, stooping, bending, lifting, or carrying over 50 pounds on a daily basis. Work is generally performed outdoors in all weather conditions and temperatures.
