Position Summary: Working within the AMS Sales team the AMS Project Manager is responsible for coordinating a variety of projects. The AMS Project Manager ensures the project scope is established and resources are properly allocated so that complete customer satisfaction is achieved, and project deliverables are met within budget in a timely manner. The AMS Project Manager load is dispatched by the AMS Manager and reviewed during daily/weekly coordination meetings.
Essential Functions: Coordinates project activities as assigned by the AMS Manager with focus on managing schedules, budgets, risks and their mitigationsPlans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned project work; monitors work to ensure on-time release and deliveryUnderstands cost accounting and risk/opportunity managementCreates and edits bill of materialsRequires regular contact with assigned project clients and equipment vendorsParticipates in client/contractor meetings and resolves project management issuesEnsures project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriatelyImplements and tracks project budgets and schedulesEffectively applies NCI methodology and enforces project standardsOther duties as assignedKnowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise: Must possess exceptional communication and presentation skillsExperience creating bill of materialsKnowledge of project management standards and best practicesMust possess data management skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft OfficeCustomer relations management and excellent negotiation skills are criticalExperience and Education: Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience is requiredBachelor's degree is preferredEquivalent combination of education, training and experience may be acceptedThe knowledge, skills and abilities listed above are typically acquired through the levels of education and experience listed. Overtime may be necessary as the workload dictates. This may include week days, weekends, nights and/or holidays
Job will generally be performed in an office environment, but may require travel to a Client's office, production facility or industrial/construction job site. Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply
Environmental Safety Requirements New Employee Safety Training is required by all newly hired employees, including Safety Awareness
All safety related training is provided and tracked by the EHS Director
Job specific training modules deemed necessary by employee's Manager or Director will be required of all employees on an ongoing basis
Employees are required to wear Nikkiso provided PPE as/when needed. PPE's include, safety shoes, safety glasses, face shields, FR clothing, cryogenic gloves, cryogenic apron, cut resistant gloves, safety gloves, hearing protection, hard hats & dust masks. Failure to comply with Nikkiso Cryo safety requirements will result in disciplinary actions, up to and including termination.
