Position Overview: The Civil Project Manager is responsible for the management of large civil construction projects, including overseeing the general contractor, subcontractors, vendors, and other involved parties.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with stakeholders, including developers, consultants, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other relevant parties to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards Develop project schedule and monitor progress of projects Lead project meetings and provide regular project updates Manage the budget for projects Occasional out of town travel to oversee jobsites Negotiate change orders to ensure the best value from vendors and subcontractors Ensure quality control of all projects, ensuring a high standards of safety, engineering, and planning Maintain project records Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the project Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in project management at a civil contractor Familiarity with AGTEK, Hard Dollar, HCSS Heavy Bid or similar Excellent communication and negotiation skills Benefits -Strong benefits package
