ITA is seeking a Program Manager to join the team in Washington, DC.
Please note this position is contingent upon successful contract award, expected Summer 2024. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee critical projects and initiatives within the Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The Program Manager will be responsible for managing the full program, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery, while ensuring alignment with CBP objectives and priorities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of DHS operations and mandates.
Develop and implement program plans, strategies, and objectives in alignment with CBP goals and priorities. Lead cross-functional teams and project staff in executing program activities and deliverables according to established timelines and budgets. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project execution. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project implementation and resolve issues. Ensure program activities and deliverables meet established quality standards, contractual requirements, and regulatory compliance obligations. Conduct periodic reviews, audits, and evaluations to assess program performance and adherence to CBP policies and procedures. Provide regular updates, reports, and briefings on program status, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders and decision-makers. Education:
Bachelors or higher, degree in finance, accounting, business, or related discipline is required. A Project Management Professional (PMP) is required. Experience:
Fifteen (15) or more years of project management, business process re-engineering, financial management and/or related experience. Ten (10) or more years of experience leading multi-disciplined teams for medium or large multi-task projects of high complexity. Minimum of ten (10) years leading and providing technical direction identifying improvements needed to ad hoc, standard financial management or operational processes. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical and cost data. Ability to read and interpret management policy, regulations, and directives. Ability to work effectively with a group or independently. Ability to effectively manage complex projects that facilitate executive-level decision-making. Proficient using the current version of MS Suite used by CBP. Minimum of ten (10) years of CBP experience preferred. ITA International proudly complies with all federal and state benefit and pay transparency laws.
