Prog Analyst PowerBI/GIS
Primary Location: Richmond, Virginia
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Prog Analyst PowerBI/GIS for our premier client in Richmond, Virginia .
Education and Experience " Minimum of 5 years programming experience in a high-level compiled language such as C#, C++, Java.
Minimum of 5 years' experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python.
Minimum of 2 years' experience with Microsoft PowerPlatform to include PowerApps, PowerAutomate, SharePoint and Dataverse. (Hard Requirement).
Minimum of 5 years' experience using GIS for creating dynamic mapping applications and processing real-time location data.
Minimum of 5 years' experience using RESTful APIS.
Other Software Knowledge: Visio, Visual Studio Code/Visual Studio Community Edition, SQL Server, Azure Datalakes and Warehouse, Oracle, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Experiences
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities " Minimum of three days in the office to work with the rest of the team.
Ability to travel around the state as needed.
Customer focused collaboration.
Excellent written and oral communication.

Writing use-cases.
Writing Requirements/Scope documents.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Job Responsibilities: Gain broad understanding of the client innovation framework.
Use the innovative/latest tools and best practices to build applications using the Power Platform and ArcGIS.
Engage multiple customers and develop applications to meet their needs, manage stakeholder communications and expectations.
Building digital twins of the roadway infrastructure to bring the data, computing, visualization together.
Working smarter and proactively though the use of data analytics and automation.
Modernize the applications.
Follow all applicable industry and client standards, processes and Protocols.
