Production Manager - Landscaping Bloom Partners has been engaged by a Commercial Landscape company in the Hialeah, FL market to recruit and hire a Production Manager to join their landscape maintenance team.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Production Manager will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers engaged in properties from start to finish. Responsible for staffing, efficiency, equipment, and material needs of the project.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervises and directs field crews in completing projects. Responds promptly to all forms of customer communication Performs services per property contractual language Coordinates maintenance-related items with the shop manager Supports company vision and other training initiatives. Promotes company culture. Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling. Ensures project is completed within budgeted hours. Orders materials needed for the project through purchasing. Plans and schedules equipment and material needs on projects. Meets with client and operation personnel to resolve project issues and needs. Tracks project changes and coordinates with account managers for enhancement requests. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. Interprets policies for workers and enforces safety regulations. Ensures a safe environment for employees, customers, and the public. Suggests changes in working conditions to increase the efficiency of the work crew. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required). Experience: 2+ years prior work experience in commercial landscaping as a Production Manager or similar role. Bilingual (English/Spanish). Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively. Edits work for spelling and grammar. Varies writing style to meet needs. Presents numerical data effectively. Able to read and interpret written information. Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities. Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views. Gives and welcomes feedback. Contributes to building a positive team spirit. Puts success of team above own interests. Able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives. Supports everyone's efforts to succeed. MOT Certified. Equipment operation knowledge. Horticultural or industry-related knowledge. Compensation and benefits include:
