Cornelis Networks is hiring a talented Product Regulatory Engineer with experience in all aspects of electronic products' regulatory requirements and testing. This includes safety, EMI, EMC, product ecology, and all other related regulatory and customer requirements for domestic and international markets. The Product Regulatory Engineer will also be involved in the design of all phases of high-performance electronics, from conception through end-of-life, of the next generation Cornelis Networks Fabric platforms. Key Responsibilities: Track pertinent domestic and international standards and directives to ensure timely testing and updates to supporting product test reports and declarations of conformance (DoC). Coordinate and participate in product testing with test labs and program management to meet product and customer needs and maintain all required reports and documentation. Generate DoCs and customer reports for safety, EMI, EMC, RoHS, REACH, WEEE, etc. Perform analysis and ensure integrity of product ecology data in database tool. Work with the platform design and manufacturing teams to assist in moving the product into and during production. This includes safety inspections and proactive review on product chassis and printed circuit board designs for safety, EMI and EMC mitigations. Required Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering. 7 + years' experience (post college) in product development environment and extensive testing with electronic products and international testing agencies. 3 + years' experience (post college) with the following standards and directives Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU IEC/EN 62368-1 EMC Directive 2014/30/EU IEC/CISPR/EN 55032 IEC/CISPR/EN 55035 EN 61000-3-2 EN 61000-3-3 FCC, 47 CFR Part 15, Class A IEC 61000-43 + years' experience (post college) with the following product ecology directives RoHS Directive 2015/863/EU WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU REACH Directive 2011/65/EU Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications MS in Electrical Engineering. Experience with concepts of PCB layout in relation to assessing EMI/EMC risks, which may include experience with tools such as Cadence- Allegro, Mentor or similar tools. Experience with Q-Point /GDX or similar ecology data assessment applications. Experience with MS Office, especially Excel spreadsheet work. Working with the following testing agencies: TUV, UL, ETL, Element Experience with climatic, shock and vibration testing. Experience with Python or other scripting languages. Location This position is remote. The ideal candidate resides within commuting distance of the headquarters in the Chesterbrook Corporate Center in Wayne, PA, or within proximity to national test houses such as TUV and UL (Minnesota preferred, New York, North Carolina, or Texas).
