Product Manager

Job summary
The Product Manager is responsible for developing marketing plans for products within the organization.They oversee the global management and monitoring of the assigned product line and its financial performance.They develop and execute product strategies and portfolio management for their assigned product lines.

Responsibilities
• Conduct interviews and surveys with current and potential customers to understand market problems and develop product roadmaps.• Gather and analyze voice of the market for the product line audience.• Develop and maintain a strategic plan with defined goals, budgets, and forecasts.• Conduct research and analysis of business opportunities to recommend new products.• Lead the new product introduction process as part of a cross-functional team.• Measure product line performance against budget and report on results.• Perform market and competition monitoring throughout the product life cycle.• Ensure a robust product portfolio by assessing offering, packaging, pricing strategies, and profitability.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and 8 or more years' experience, including supervisory experience.• BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field preferred.• Minimum of 5 years technical, marketing, or product management experience in a relevant industry preferred.• Experience in understanding customer needs in relevant industry.• Ability to travel 20% or more.
