At Nike, it's about each person bringing skills and passion to a challenging and constantly evolving game.THE OVERVIEWOperationalize inventory to a space by organizing, tracking, and securing product in a location that can serve all categories, functions, and geographies over the full lifecycle of the product. Ultimately reducing the "chase" time for NIKE product; enable less physical product to serve more of NIKE's needs; minimize product loss.The Inventory Management Department will:Establish best in class inventory management processesInventory, organize, track, and liquidate product for useContribute to policies and protocols to ensure proper gatekeeping, safety, security, and risk minimization of GBM product inventory on campusDELIVERABLESLead and coordinate team resources to complete day-to-day objectivesSteward the product in the facility through its lifecycle including delivery receipt, unboxing, organizing, storing, retrieving and on-campus delivery of product Serve as the librarian, checking product in/out of the facilityPull product from onsite storage for executionsCreate inventories for shipping and commercial invoicesEnsure product security while shipping on-campus, Nationally, and Internationally Coordinate and process return of merchandise once production is completeWork with Supervisors and Leads to detect and correct errors in inventory movement and balances Safeguard all products under the facility's care, verifying inventory accuracyServe the needs of the tenants while observing policies and protocols for product access and availability Logistics Experience is a MustExcel proficiency is required, and full working knowledge of MS Office Suite is needed, familiarity with Airtable, Tableau, SAP, Keynote and any WMS system a plusDocument process best practices & improvements areas and validate the effectiveness of actions taken Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and training materials for new and existing staff to enforce accurate inventory operationsIdentify and elevate risks, issues, roadblocks and suggest solutions Supporting a culture of continuous improvement where teams are encouraged to drive change Proactively contribute to a problem-solving Product Management community Ensure inventory processes meets or exceeds Nike product security standardsProvide Excellent Customer ServiceWHAT YOU WILL BRINGBachelor's Degree Preferred3+ years experience in shipping, receiving, customer service, retail, or stock room type Environment 1+ year experience leading/managing a team preferredBe available to work 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday Commit to no electronic devices during team meetings or 1:1s (Unless designated as note taker)Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work with a diverse group or peopleTechnical aptitudeStrong influence, collaboration, presentation and organization skillsFlexible and able to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Enthusiastic, positive, professional, and able to work well under pressure.Detail-oriented team playerExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to adapt to an ever-changing environmentMust be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach and twist Operational ManagementContribute to the continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and establish KPIs Identify root cause and process failures contributing to inventory errors Location: Nike WHQ - Beaverton, ORWork: In-person – 5 days per week. No remote/hybrid option.
