Job Summary: Raytheon is seeking a Product Area Execution Director for the Short-Range Air Defense ( SHORAD ) and Rapid Development Programs ( RDP ) area within the Short and Medium Range Ground Based Air Defense ( SMGBAD ) Sub-Strategic Business Area ( SSBU ) reporting directly to the Senior Director. This is a highly visible and complex emerging growth area within Land and Air Defense Systems ( LADS ) capitalizing on the significant demand for Counter Unmanned Air Systems capabilities.
You will be responsible for executing Army development, production, and sustainment backlog for our KuRFS, Coyote CUAS , and Sustainment product areas feeding into our Low slow small, unmanned air systems Integrated Defeat System ( LIDS ) programs. You will work closely with the CUAS LIDS program execution director to ensure there is alignment and continuity on contract execution and work closely with the International CUAS program lead providing input into proposal submissions to ensure alignment exists across the Product area portfolio.
You will be expected to set strategy, vision and direction for successful execution focused on overall product affordability, product integrity, on-time deliveries to enable near, mid, and long-term business growth.
+ The position is for either the McKinney, TX or Tucson, AZ location and is a hybrid role. The selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.
Responsibilities to Anticipate: + Accountability for profit and loss, AOP development and execution, and EAC inputs
+ Coordinating and aligning interactions, dependencies, and transactions between CUAS LIDS Programs and the product areas
+ Develop and execute program growth strategies for domestic and international growth
+ Understand and represent customer needs to leadership
+ Building and maintaining excellent relationships with the customer counterparts
+ Responsible for managing risk, opportunity, cost, quality and schedule performance
+ Ability to travel (international and domestic) as needed
Basic Qualifications: + Typically requires Bachelor's degree and 14 years of relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree and 12 years of relevant experience is required
+ Program management experience leading development, transition to production, production and/or sustainment programs
+ Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs with use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System ( EVMS ), Integrated Master Plan ( IMP ) / Integrated Master Schedule ( IMS ), Risk and Opportunity Management, Scope Board, or similar business processes
+ Experience leading cross-functional teams to include, but not limited to, any combination of the following: Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management ( CDRL support) and/or administrative functions
+ Experience with developing program-staffing requirements and coordinating with functional organizations
+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications: + Program Management Level 3 or 2 Certification
+ Proven success creating and maintaining strong executive level relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, US acquisition commands and internal peers
+ Working knowledge of metrics and demonstrated ability to forecast and manage financials
+ Experience working with U.S. Army, Navy, and other customers on government programs (large/complex) with direct customer interfaces, both internal and external
+ Experience developing and implementing execution, coordination, and growth strategies for franchise programs
+ Demonstrated ability to work across business areas, manage diverse tasks, requirements and commitments and interface successfully with numerous disciplines
+ Ability to thrive in an innovative environment
+ Oversight and monitoring of supplier performance; develop preventive and corrective actions as necessary
+ Ensure customer performance feedback and actions/requests are responded to in a timely, comprehensive, and accurate manner

+ Remote : Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
Clearance Information: This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services ( DCSA CAS ), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. More information about Security Clearances can be found on the US Department of State government website here: The salary range for this role is 171,000 USD – 343,000 USD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
