Responsibilities
• Manage the supply management formation• Direct, plan, coordinate, and oversee procurement and materials activities• Supervise clerical, technical, and administrative activities• Oversee negotiations and agreements with vendors• Manage receipt, storage, and distribution functions• Engage with key stakeholders to gain support of category plans• Collect feedback from customers and stakeholders• Ensure adoption of standardized procurement approach• Advise and lead on bid evaluation for supplier selection• Deliver projects within program and budget• Continually seek ways to improve contract values• Develop and maintain procurement team scorecards
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related work experience with 3 years in a leadership role• Master's degree and 10 years of related work experience with 3 years in a leadership role preferred• Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills• Purchasing experience in a mid-sized to large organization, preferably in the nuclear power industry• Experience with SAP or other procurement information management systems• Preferred certifications: CPM, CPSM, CIPS
