PROCUREMENT & INVENTORY SPECIALIST Location Carney, MI : PROCUREMENT AND INVENTORY SPECIALIST Michigan Broadband Services is a proven provider of a wide variety of telecommunications and connectivity services including fiber, DSL, telephony, and streaming TV services with service areas throughout Upper Michigan and Northern Lower Michigan. We are currently seeking a Procurement and Inventory Specialist to join our team. This full-time position will report to our Carney, MI office.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management. The position will report to the Accounting Manager.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Request quotes from vendors for equipment or materials required to fulfill certain tasks or projects as requested. Enter purchase order requisitions for approved quotes utilizing our in-house software system. Receive and process incoming equipment and materials into inventory. Issue out equipment and materials as needed. Keep detailed records of equipment placement and material usage. Utilize our billing software to enter received inventory into the system and track the outgoing inventory.
