JOB DESCRIPTION
The Process Engineering Specialist role combines insurance business knowledge, process examination, and data analysis, to suggest and implement improvement initiatives across PRS. You will leverage your process-driven, analytical, communication, coaching, and technical skills to identify, define, and implement process reengineering, automation, and future state transformation use cases.
In This Role you will: Conduct discovery, document current state processes, and identify areas of significant opportunity throughout PRS teams (including underwriting, operations, risk consulting, product, etc.). Leverage analysis, feedback channels, and process metrics to identify areas of improvement that drive simplified products, create repeatable processes, streamline/simplify systems, improve the customer experience, and reduce issues and pain points. Help identify opportunities to optimize resource throughput and capacity utilization. Create business process documentation (mapping, job-aids, etc.) to understand process steps, interdependencies, and applications used to complete transactions. Develop and present continuous improvement initiatives to stakeholders and business leaders that are compelling, motivate, drive change, create value, and drive buy-in. Coordinate with the process engineering team, business owners, IT development teams, and other relevant stakeholders to define requirements, design, develop, test, and deploy solutions as needed. Support implementation and change management of solutions within the business; Communicate project status, issues, and risks to internal and external teams on a regular basis. Foster strong relationships with Sales, Underwriting, Operations, and Claim's functions to collect stakeholder input and ensure the adoption of optimized business processes.
