Responsibilities
• Provide instructional leadership and increase student achievement• Oversee instructional program, school environment, and operational/fiscal health• Supervise, monitor, and coach staff for growth and improvement• Foster cooperative work environment for high levels of student achievement• Support students and staff from diverse backgrounds• Manage organizational systems and resources for safe learning environment• Collaborate with families and stakeholders for community support• Coordinate resources for staff and student well-being• Collaborate with district administrators to provide direction for teaching and learning• Manage school operations and promote positive school/community relations• Confer with parents and staff on educational activities and policies• Facilitate committee meetings and supervise after-school events• Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
• Master's Degree from accredited college or university• Minimum of three (3) years of job related experience• Missouri School Administrator Certificate• Criminal Background Clearance• Knowledge of elementary curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices• Knowledge of child development and best practices in education• Skill in effective hiring techniques and budget management• Ability to schedule activities and use job-related equipment• Analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adapt to changing priorities
