Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnostic work-up, and clinic intervention• Function as part of a multi-disciplinary primary care team• Establish diagnoses and respond to emergency health problems• Initiate referrals and consultations to other clinical services• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests, recommend treatment and/or referral• Validate the effectiveness of medical treatment• Involve patients and families in care planning and goal-setting• Record/document patient encounters using electronic systems• Respond to alerts and health line requests within recommended time periods• Follow Performance Measure guidelines
Requirements
• Be a citizen of the United States• Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery• Be proficient in spoken and written English• Have completed residency training in an accredited program• Preferred experience includes board certification
