Responsibilities:
Perform regular preventive maintenance on various heavy equipment including forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, cranes, and loaders. Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve potential equipment issues before they become major problems. Maintain detailed records of performed maintenance and repairs for future reference. Collaborate with equipment operators and other technicians to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions in a timely manner. Disassemble and reassemble equipment components, such as engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems, for repairs or replacements. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during maintenance and repair procedures. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in equipment maintenance techniques through training sessions. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven experience as an equipment maintenance technician in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operations and maintenance. Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools. Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to equipment maintenance. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
