VAL - CO a leader in commercial poultry, egg, and swine production equipment, specializing in world-famous poultry watering and feeding systems, is currently looking for Full-Time Press Operator's in the Coldwater, Ohio facility. Scheduled workdays are Monday thru Friday, 2nd Shift - 3:30pm - 12:00am
Benefits offered: Offering up to $19.00/hr. 2nd Shift Differential $1.50/hr. Benefits eligibility after 90 days. Quarterly Incentive Bonus. $1,500 sign-on bonus paid after 6 months of employment. PTO after 90 days Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Properly operate previously set-up machines following given instructions and meeting safety, quality and quantity standards Inspect parts using master, drawing or process sheet to assure they meet quality standard Adhere to all company safety requirements Follow proper packaging, storage, and handling instructions for completed parts Move parts into or out of work area as needed Properly complete all paperwork such as timecards, production cards, parts tags, scrap reports, work order sheets, etc. Keep work area clean and orderly Report all quality or safety problems to supervisor or coordinator Like all VAL-CO employees, the conduct of this position must be consistent with good character and must be reflective of our company's published core values.
Requirements: Able to read work documents and write legibly Able to do basic math such as addition, subtraction and division Able to read basic measuring tools Physically able to meet essential job functions Able to follow directions and work well with others Essential Job Functions Must be able to turn laterally 90 degrees to right and left up to 200 times per hour for 8-hour shift Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. to shoulder height up to 100 times per hour for 8-hour shift Must be able to stand for 8-hour shift Must be able to carry up to 40 lbs. up to 6' distance up to 100 times per hour for 8-hour shift Must be able to push or pull wagon load up to 1000 lbs. up to 10 times per 8-hour shift Must be able to reach above shoulders to actuate two hand trip machine controls up to 300 times per hour per 8-hour shift Must be able to actuate foot treadle machine controls up to 300 times per hour per 8-hour shift Must be able to position work pieces simultaneously in two separate stations of die to meet process standards Must be able to use appropriate hand tools, writing utensils and measuring devices required to meet quality, safety, and quantity standards Read, understand & legibly complete paperwork Benefits of working as a Press Operator - 2nd Shift in Coldwater, OH:
