Preschool Director

Our company is looking for a bright and energetic Director who has a true passion for children and a desire to educate young minds. This is a salaried management position and consequently the candidate must be willing to work a variable schedule and may be required to work more than 40 hours per week from time to time. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are a must. High levels of professionalism as well as strong organizational skills are required. Candidates must feel confident in touring prospective families giving insight about our program. The position we are hiring for will be determined by past experience and education. A minimum requirement for this position is a CDA and at least two year's experience as a Director of a licensed preschool.The role of the Director is critical to the ongoing success of the school for many reasons. The Director is the role model that staff look to for leadership, advice and coaching. A strong Director will build a strong team to carry forth the schools vision of education, growth and love. The Director is the person that parents go to for questions or concerns and to resolve problems quickly and effectively. Our organization depends on a strong Director to be familiar with and stay current on state childcare regulations, local and federal regulatory agencies, internal policies and procedures, and maintain compliance with all.Job ResponsibilitiesBe familiar with and stay current on state childcare regulations, local and federal regulatory agencies; oversee the successful daily operation of the school; recruit, hire, train and maintain quality staff.The ability to sell our program to interested families to grow enrollment while creating a nurturing and loving learning environment for current familiesSkilled in conflict resolution and communicationAdditional responsibilities will be discussed in the interviewQualificationsAt least two years of experience as a Director in a licensed childcare facility.A strong background/degree in the Early Childhood Education field.Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and/or in writingAdditional qualifications will be discussed during the initial interview
