Objectives: Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. Maintain quality and safety standards. Keep records and maintain equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities: Performs all functions of Precision Machinist I CNC. Must have knowledge of Multi Axis tool setups. Understand G & M codes. Ability to inspect parts and enter tool offset into machine controller as required & make off-sets on own. Perform manufacturing activities of medical device components in the CNC department. Ensure equipment in the department has been properly maintained and/or calibrated prior to use. Assists in the establishment and update of quality system documentation relevant to the CNC department as needed. Qualifications: Must be able to work Monday - Thursday 3:15PM-1:45am, with overtime as needed High School Diploma or Equivalent Some form of related Tech School education desired Swiss programming experience a plus Basic blue print reading and interpretation Exceptional attendance Must be able to work in a high-volume area Team Player Candidate must be able to multi-task, including running two or more machines simultaneously, if needed Familiarity with Tsugami and Citizen Swiss CNC machines with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls ISO 9001/ISO 13485 manufacturing background preferred Minimum 2-4 years in manufacturing related position, medical device industry preferred All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
