A local well respected mechanical contractor is looking for a motivated individual to bring their mechanical experience to a growing dynamic team as a Plumbing Estimator. Ideally, they are looking for someone who enjoys working as a team, has a good attitude and a willingness to work hard. Competitive Pay Excellent Benefits Professional Growth Great company culture The Estimator is responsible for developing pricing and presenting bids to clients. This includes estimating the cost of a job, determining labor rates, estimating materials and supplies needed for the job, and developing a bid package. The Estimator also must maintain relationships with vendors and coordinate with plumbers to ensure that bids are competitive. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Plumbing Estimating, and/or management of plumbing projects Ability to operate independently, while possessing the discretionary judgment to know when it is appropriate to consult with others in the organization. Develop pricing for jobs using industry standard estimating software (i.e., FastPIPE, and Excel) Experience working for a Mechanical, or Plumbing company Staying updated with the latest industry practices, and trends Expert in estimating formulas Must be able to price out different alternatives, and make recommendations to the customer Possess excellent numerical skills, negotiating skills, and an analytical mindset Provide comprehensive reports so the organization can make informed decisions Have great attention to detail Please send resume to View email address on jobs.institutedata.com for consideration.
