Full-time | Year-round | Comprehensive Benefits Package $35.00/hour Executes the daily operation, ongoing maintenance, installation and annual projects assigned for the Utilities Plumbing. Responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in amusement and water parks. Maintains boilers, bathrooms, sinks, kitchen equipment, drains, lift stations, grease traps, and other related equipment as required to support a large amusement facility. Maintains Fire Systems and performs minor repairs. Responsibilities and requireme nts may vary by location. Installs, repairs, and maintains plumbing, systems supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment. Performs preventative maintenance (planned internal inspections) on water rides and plumber installations, as well as preventative maintenance on plumbing equipment and machinery, based on manufacturer and park standards. Tests and observes pressure gauges for leaks to repair if needed. Reads blueprints and drawings to determine exact specifications and where plumbing systems exist and will be installed. Ensure use of materials needed for installation, including type and size of pipe. Assembles pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment. Locates and repair issues with water supply lines; unclogs drains safely and without causing damage to company property. Ensures that all installations, repairs, and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and at specified grade by AWWA standard and meets all standards of health, building and safety guidelines, and codes. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older.  High school graduate or equivalent. Related degree or vocational training preferred. Ability to obtain Journeyman Plumbing Certification. 0-2 years of plumbing experience. Experience with plumbing torches, PEX crimping tools, drain cleaning equipment, power hand tools. Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a team. Ability to meet deadlines. Must be comfortable working on ladders and from heights. Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
