The PLC Controls Engineer will provide direct support on the production line to resolve electrical and programming issues discovered during electrical checkout of online buses, especially lead buses.
Essential Functions: Investigate and resolve electrical and programming issues encountered on the production line during electrical checkout. Create and release programming updates and other engineering solutions as needed. Support issue resolution using J1939 network traffic analysis as needed. Execute in-plant testing of electrical and programming solutions as required by colleagues. Support supplier application approvals, vendor tests, config audits, and other online activities as needed. Provide general status of online builds, identify and address potential roadblocks preventing deliveries. Support ongoing process improvement initiatives. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of equivalent related industry/technology experience.
