Plant Nursery Operations Coordinator

We are hiring a Nursery Coordinator for a dynamic tree farm and nursery located in Salina, KS. This position requires a unique blend of horticultural expertise with operational experience. The ideal candidate must have attention to detail, backed by a strong background in customer service and inventory management. Proficiency in plant material ordering and operation of skid steer equipment for bulk material handling are essential. We seek an individual dedicated to providing outstanding service to customers, fueled by a genuine passion for plants and trees.
Manage the ordering and organization of plant material. Utilize skid steer equipment proficiently to load bulk materials(rock, mulch, etc...). Provide exceptional customer service. Maintain attention to detail in nursery operations, including plant organization, bulk pricing, and nursery grounds Conduct regular inventory assessment, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating inter-departmental production needs. Collaborate with team to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. Demonstrate a genuine passion for plants and trees, sharing knowledge and enthusiasm with customers and colleagues alike. Qualifications
Valid driver's license, required. Knowledge of plant/tree material including experience in watering, pruning and fertilizing, required. Prolonged walking and working in extreme weather conditions. Experience with maintaining Inventory. Candidates must be comfortable with technology.
